Town Of Westborough: Congratulations To The October FY2022 Employee Excellence Award Winner Sarah Cunningham!

The Employee Excellence Award committee is pleased to present this award to Sarah Cunningham in the Library. 

A long-time Library staff member, Sarah has become a willing and versatile “go-to” wherever there is a need. Beyond her regular duties, she assumes the role of Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, injecting her “…creative, fun sense of humor” into the Library’s sandwich sign boards with “…hilarious messaging…” that resulted in one of the boards going viral on Reddit. “Her friendly smile and easy way with patrons is a hallmark of her work style, and she’s a supportive and helpful team player for her co-workers.” She readily stepped in to help cover an employee on leave’s position, taking on and mastering confusing and time-consuming tasks in addition to her regular duties. Sarah has also taken on the responsibility of keeping the Library website current, cooperatively troubleshooting problems as they have arisen.  Always willing to learn new things and quick to jump in and lend a hand when needed, ‘Sarah brings excellence to the job every day...with a smile…and without a complaint or negative word.’  She is most deserving of recognition as October’s Excellent Employee of the month!
