Turkey Trot/5K Walk and Run for Public Schools This Weekend

Designed as a community-wide event, the annual Westborough Turkey Trot 5K walk/run is coming up on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 9 a.m. (same day registrations begin at 7:45 a.m.)

The event is a major fundraiser for technology initiatives at the Westboroguh Public Schools

“It is a first of its kind collaborative effort with support from all of the parent groups at our schools, along with SEPAC, WEF, Westborough High School Boosters and the Westborough Fine Arts Education Association. We hope this will become an annual event in support of our schools.”

The course loops and starts and ends at the high school, with a race that is geared toward families and friends. Water stations and cheering sections line the route, and activities cap the end of the race.

There is also an Athletic Revolution Kids’ Fun Run on the high school track.
