Korean War Veteran Carl Temple Passed Away
Temple was instrumental in restoring the historical water fountain at the entrance to Memorial Cemetery.

Carl E. Temple, 75, of Westborough passed away March 11. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Ethel; his children Kimberly Temple, Michael Temple, Laura (Temple) Donovan and her husband, Timothy; and two granddaughters. Carl was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a former member of the Westborough Garden Club, Downtown Revitalization Committee, , Naval Minewarfare Association and the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah). He was instrumental in restoring the historical water fountain at the entrance to Memorial Cemetery in town after more than 20 years in storage. He also designed and installed the landscaping at the war memorial site in front of the police station. He was buried at with full military honors.
