Westborough 2023 Election: 13 Seats On Ballot, Including Town Clerk

WESTBOROUGH, MA — The 2023 election season has been underway in Westborough since shortly after the 2022 election.

In early December, nomination papers became available to run for one of the 13 seats up for election in March. In 2023, seats on the select board, school committee, plus the town moderator and clerk positions, will be on the ballot.

Westborough will get a new town clerk after March. Longtime Town Clerk Wendy Mickel is not seeking reelection this year after taking the post at the end of 2013. Assistant Town Clerk Deborah Ledoux will run for the seat, although it's open to others. Mickel served as assistant town clerk for 18 years before 2013.

There are also two public library trustees who are not seeking reelection in 2023: Carolyn Spring and William Linnane, who are leaving two open seats for residents to run for.

Here are the seats up for election in 2023, and the incumbents holding them:
