Westborough Civic Leadership Academy Applications Open For Fall

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough residents interested in learning more about town government can apply for the town’s Fall 2026 Civic Leadership Academy.

The nine-week program will run from Sept. 15 through Nov. 10 and will give residents an in-depth look at town government, local departments, town leaders and ways to serve on boards and committees, according to the town.

Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evenings at various locations in Westborough, with one class scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26. Participants will be recognized during a graduation ceremony at the Nov. 17 Select Board meeting.

The town said the program is intended for residents who want to learn how local decisions are made, get more involved in town affairs or explore serving on a local board or committee.

Applications are due by noon on Sept. 4, according to the town. The application form says registration is limited to 15 participants.
