Westborough Fire Responds to Hazmat Situation on Flanders Road
A building was evacuated Wednesday morning.
WESTBOROUGH, MA—Firefighters responded early Wednesday morning to a hazardous materials incident in Westborough.
The incident occurred at a building on Flanders Road starting at 5 a.m. Crews encountered several chemical reactions and evacuated the building. Dow Chemical also assisted, and Mass. Department of Fire Services placed air monitoring equipment throughout the area to assure that the environment is safe.
