Westborough Folk Fans to Hear 'Sweet Talk'

Sweet Talk Radio headlines Saturday night's concert.

A new Westborough folk music series continues building its relationship with the community Saturday night with a duo that often sings about relationships.

Sweet Talk Radio headlines the latest in the Sally Johnson Presents and Boroughs JCC Community Folk Series at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC.

Kelly Ann Kerr will open the concert. Tickets are $12.50 in advance, $10 for students and seniors, and $10 at the door. The doors open at 6:45 p.m.

Sweet Talk Radio, the husband and wife team of Kathrin Shorr and Tim Burlingame, will perform a number of songs from "State of the Union," its second album, released on Sept. 4, Burlingame says.

"A lot of it is about our relationship," he says.

"We just started writing, and we had a few working titles" before they realized the link between the songs.
