Westborough High Named One of the Top in the Country

Newsweek recently released its list of “America’s Top Schools.”

Westborough High ranked at no. 35 in the list, just behind schools in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Earning a college readiness score of 97.71 percent, more than 90 percent of Westborough High seniors head for college.

The rankings, said Newsweek, are based on the schools’ job of preparing students for college.

A next to a school’s name means that low-income students are scoring at or above average on state assessments. This is our way of recognizing schools that narrow the achievement gap.”
