On October 13th, the Westborough Fire Department was the recipient of thirty Face Shields and twenty-five visors through the collaborative efforts of the Harvard, MA and Westborough Lions Clubs. This donation was made possible by a generous $10,000 COVID-19 grant from the Lions Clubs International Foundation. The goal of the partnership was to provide much needed NIH-approved PPE for local first repsoners in towns like Harvard and Westborough, served via the forty-seven local Lions chapters within Massachusetts District 33A.

Pictured are Westborough Lions Club Treasurer Tony Ash, Westborough Deputy Fire Chief Jason Forschke, Westborough Lions Club Secretary Burton Christensen, Firefighter and Paramedic Nick Johnson, Lieutenant and Paramedic Roger Buscha, and Westborough Fire Chief Patrick Purcell. Missing from the photo but present was Westborough Lions Club Past President Guido Lonardo.
