Westborough Lions Club Promotes Sights and Sound

Lions Club Donates Museum Pass and Buys Hearing Aids for Resident

For the second year in a row, the Westborough Lions Club purchased a Peabody Essex Museum pass for the Westborough Library. In the photo, Treasurer Tony Ash and President Ron Pallisco present Library Director Maureen Ambrosino with the check. With the purchase of this pass, local residents can once again enjoy significantly reduced admission to this popular museum in Salem, Massachusetts. The museum houses over 1.8 million works, primarily from the 1700’s to today, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, textiles, architecture, and decorative objects. Visit the library’s website: westboroughlib.org to reserve the pass today!

In addition, the Lions Club, with help from the Massachusetts Lions District 33A, Sight and Hearing Fund, recently purchased hearing aids for John, a resident of The Bridge of Central Massachusetts, Westborough. He is also shown in a photo above with Treasurer Tony and President Ron. The Westborough Lions annually contribute to the Sight and Hearing Fund, which helps defray the costs of sight and hearing related equipment for Lions Clubs throughout District 33A. The Westborough Lions were proud to sponsor John, and are always ready to serve the community wherever a need exists.

Please visit the Westborough Lions website or their Facebook Page, to learn more about how the club serves your community.
