Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The Westborough Lions Club is hosting its 23rd Italian Dinner on Saturday, May 6th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Westborough High School in the cafeteria. This is one of the Club's annual fundraising activities to support sight and hearing-related needs in the community, eye research, diabetes camps, as well as other charitable activities. Enjoy some great Italian food, entertainment for the kids, and a Silent Auction. The Silent Auction will include a pair of Red Sox tickets generously donated by Westborough Eyecare. For even more fun, join in our new Trivia Contest starting at 7 p.m.! Tables will compete against each other with the winning table earning a special prize! Get a group of friends or members of your community club together to compete. Topics include Westborough History, Movies and TV, Sports, Arts &amp; Sciences, and more. Entrance to the Trivia Contest is included with the price of a dinner ticket.
