Westborough Lions Offer College Scholarship

The Westborough Lions Club is offering a $1,000 post secondary education scholarship to a graduating high school senior residing in Westborough. Students attending Westborough High School, private high schools, and Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School are welcome to apply. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has shown outstanding commitment to community service, has a strong academic background, but who has also overcome some hardship or adversity in order to achieve their goals. The Lions are hosting a Rubber Duck Derby on Saturday, April 15th, at 11 a.m. at the Mill Pond Spillway to fund the scholarship.
