Westborough Man Arrested After Stabbing His Brother: Police

WESTBOROUGH, MA — One man was arrested on Saturday in Westborough and is accused of stabbing his brother. The man was charged with attempted murder, domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police were called to a Main Street apartment for a reported stabbing and found the man in front of his home and his brother a few feet away. The brother had a stab wound in his stomach and was taken to UMASS University Campus in Worcester for treatment.

Police said what started as a domestic dispute quickly escalated inside the apartment. The two men struggled and at some point the stabbing ensued, according to police, leaving them both outside the apartment.

The incident is still under investigation.
