Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A Westborough man recently won a $100,000 jackpot after playing Mass Cash, according to the state Lottery Commission. Todd Geiger bought his Mass Cash ticket at a Roche Bros. supermarket in North Easton in May, according to the lottery commission. He drew five winning numbers using the Quic Pic option. Geiger is sharing his winnings with his three siblings, and they all plan to give some of the winnings to their father to buy more — hopefully lucky — lottery tickets. The Roche Bros. store will get a $1,000 bonus from the state for selling the winning ticket.
