Westborough Police Arrest Pair On Fentanyl Trafficking Charges
The Route 9 arrests happened early Monday morning, according to police.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough police arrested two people on Monday after a traffic stop along Route 9 led to the discovery of opioids.
Police pulled over a driver around 1:15 a.m. Monday after noticing an expired inspection sticker. There were three people inside the car, and one was found to have two outstanding arrest warrants.
Westborough officers searched the person and found suspected fentanyl. He was arrested on the warrants and a drug trafficking charge. A second person in the car was also found carrying suspected fentanyl and arrested. The pair were released on bail Monday, police said.
