Westborough Police Warning of 'IRS' Scam
Numerous residents received robocalls this week.
WESTBOROUGH, MA -- Westborough police are warning residents of a scam that has also been reported in numerous other towns and cities.
Many residents have received a call purportedly from the IRS that threatens legal action against them. It is a scam, warns police.
“Do not call the number that is given and do not forward any money to them,” said police.
