Westborough Remembers Laurel Boyle-Michaud
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday.

Laurel E. Boyle-Michaud, 92, of Bourne, formerly of Westborough, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at the Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Frederick Michaud. Her first husband, Charles L. Boyle, passed away in 1984.
Born in Caribou, Maine, she was the daughter of the late George and Irene (Bernard) Whitneck. She was educated in the Caribou public schools, and was a graduate of Caribou High School.
Laurel was employed as a waitress, hostess and manager for Sea N Surf Restaurant in Framingham for many years prior to her retirement in 1981.
She has resided in Bourne since 2005, previously living in Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Westborough. She was a member of the Bourne Senior Center and enjoyed crafts and quilting.
Laurel is survived by her two sons, George G. Boyle and his wife, Carol, of Hudson and Joseph A. Boyle and his wife, Marie, of Westborough; three grandchildren, Robert A. Boyle, James K. Boyle and Alysia Boyle; and two great grandchildren, Holly R. Boyle and James Robert Boyle.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Bourne Senior Center, 239 Main St., Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.
