Westborough Seeks Volunteer For Planning Board

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough is seeking a resident volunteer to fill a vacancy on the town planning board.

Anyone interested in the role will serve until the next town election in March 2023. The interim planning board member can run for a full term at that time. In general, the planning board oversees zoning in Westborough, and gives initial approval to residential and commercial development projects.

Candidates to fill the vacancy will interview during a joint Westborough Planning Board-Select Board meeting scheduled for June 28. The two boards will pick the candidate after the interviews.
