Westborough Approves $94.6 Million Budget, Forbes Building Renovation, Fireworks, Gas Tax Option
Westborough held its annual Town Meeting on Saturday, and approved "roughly half" of the warrant articles, and finished all 40 on Tuesday.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough residents on Saturday voted on roughly half of the warrant articles at this year's Town Meeting, voting on the rest on Tuesday evening.
Voters approved a warrant article to renovate the Forbes Municipal Building and a zoning bylaw that opens up more options for the Westborough State Hospital land.
Residents also decided on a capital improvement plan that would replace an ambulance, firetruck and cruiser, buy a new loader and truck for the DPW, and a sewer grinder at the pump station.

To improve potential solutions to school buildings for students K-3, Article 24 approved to appropriate a sum of money for engineering and design.
Residents also gave the thumbs up for funds to pay for fireworks for a Fourth of July celebration, which was also approved.
