Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough's big annual holiday kickoff will take over the town Sunday, with a tree lighting, parade and specials at local businesses happening all afternoon. The stroll begins at 2 p.m. with local businesses (<a href="https://www.town.westborough.ma.us/sites/g/files/vyhlif5176/f/news/winter_stroll_stops_2022_-_final.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">find the full list here</a>) opening their doors and offering door prizes, food, raffles, sales and much more. The town will run a shuttle starting at 2 p.m. because the businesses participating in the event are located downtown, along Lyman Street and Route 9. During the business stroll, Mrs. Claus will be reading stories to kids at the Westborough Public Library at 2, 3 and 4 p.m. The main downtown festivities get underway at 5:15 p.m. with a parade of cars decked out in lights along West Main Street. That leads to the main event at 6 p.m. — a tree lighting with Santa Claus downtown. The 2022 Winter Stroll, formerly the Holiday Stroll, is the second year the event has been held since it was called off in 2020 due to the pandemic.
