Westborough Youth & Family Open House & Welcomes New Director Cara Presley Monday, September 24th 4:30-7:30pm 40 South St. Central One

Westborough Youth and Family Services welcomes new Director, Cara Presley. Presley, a licensed independent clinical social worker, is excited to join WYFS towards the mission to enhance the lives of children and families through inclusive prevention and education and counseling services. In a career dedicated to social justice, Presley has provided direct clinical services and managed behavioral health programs serving diverse populations, particularly in communities who have been marginalized because of mental illness, poverty, bias and discrimination. In addition to many years working with children and families, Presley recently ran a program that provided services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer adults who had experienced violence. She is eager to return to work with children and families, applying her specializations in addressing trauma and working with the LGBTQ community. Presley is looking forward to collaborating with groups and organizations across Westborough to develop programs and collaborate creatively to address the evolving needs of local youth and families.
