Westborough's Hot Summer Nights Kicks Off Next Weekend

Hot Summer nights gives teens safe and fun events throughout the season. This event kicks it off, and includes ice cream.

The 2015 Westborough Hot Summer Nights program (HSN) kicks off with its annual Ice Cream Giveaway on Friday, June 19, at 11:15am outside the Forbes Municipal Building at 45 West Main St.

It’s a chance to grab some free sweet treats and learn more about all the summer events planned.

The HSN program, which is for Westborough teens going into grades 6-10, aims to provide kids with safe and fun activities to participate in throughout the summer.

Later in the day on June 19, also join Hot Summer Nights and compete in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament and free-throw contest in the Gibbons Middle School gymnasium from 6-8:30 p.m. This event is free and includes prizes.

HSN hosts a number of events this summer including: Yummy Mummy: Design Your Own Cake on Thursday, June 25, from 10-11:30 a.m. and Origami Night with local expert Annie Wales on Wednesday, July 8, from 6:30-8 p.m. Registration for these events and many others can be found here.
