Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

A Westborough High School assistant principal search is underway. School officials have advertised both within the district and outside it, School Superintendent Marianne O'Connor told the school committee Wednesday night. The advertisement on <a href="http://westborough.ma.schoolwebpages.com/education/components/scrapbook/default.php?sectiondetailid=5655&amp;linkid=nav-menu-container-1-56724" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">the school district's website</a> reads, "Salary, benefits and responsibilities per contract between the Westborough School Committee and the Westborough School Administrators Association. Please submit a letter of interest, resume, letters of reference and copy of certifications by April 16, 2013 to Marianne O'Connor, Superintendent." Brian Callaghan, one of WHS' two assistant principals, will become the school's principal on July 1.
