Worcester Woman Arrested For Stealing Keys, Car, From Westborough Home

A woman from Worcester is facing charges for allegedly breaking into a house, stealing keys, and taking a car.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A Worcester woman is facing charges after she allegedly broke into a house in Westborough, stole some keys to a car, and took off in that car.

On Friday, March 3, around 10:02 a.m., police responded to a break-in at 103 Fisher St. The caller said that someone came into the residence at stole the keys to the owners of a 2011 Chevy Equinox. The suspect took off in the vehicle and headed west on Fisher Street, a dead-end. The driver turned around and almost hit the vehicle's owner, who was on the side of the road.

Westborough Officer Terry Peters found the car pulled to the side of Fisher Street approximately a quarter mile away with the suspect still in the vehicle.

Michelle J. Hollis, 49, Franklin Street, Worcester, was booked at the Westborough Police Department and charged with Breaking and Entering daytime with intent to commit a felony (larceny) and larceny of a motor vehicle. She will be arraigned in WDC on Friday.
