Worker Crushed To Death When Trailer Collapses On Him In Westborough
A man died Wednesday morning after a tractor-trailer he was servicing fell on him, according to reports.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — A trailer collapsed and crushed a worker to death in Westborough, according to Boston 25 News. Crews responded to the report of a worker trapped at 4400 Computer Drive shortly before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The man was servicing the trailer when it fell on him. Crews attempted to save the man's life but he was ultimately pronounced dead, Boston 25 News reported.
Multiple fire engines remained at the scene of the accident throughout the morning, WHDH 7-News reported. Emergency responders were unable to remove the worker's body from under the trailer as of 11:30 a.m.

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.
The victim's name has not been released.

The fire department posted the following on Facebook late Wednesday morning:
"Rescue 1, Truck 1, Engine 4, and Medic 3 are working a technical rescue with heavy entrapment on the east side of Westborough. Crews will be committed for extensive amount of time. Mutual aid handling calls in town currently."
