John E. Concaugh, 88, of Westborough, passed away on June 6. He was the husband of Mary (McDonald) Concaugh and a 1941 graduate of During WW II, he served with the US Navy. John worked for Wyman-Gordon for 20 years and then at the , retiring in 1993. He was a communicant of and a member of the VFW. He previously served as Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and as the Civil Defense Director for the town of Westborough. In addition to his wife he is survived by four daughters: Susan Hoffman and her husband, Stephen, of Hopkinton; Kelly Kimball of Westborough; Geralyn Concaugh of Westborough; and Moira Concaugh of Grafton. John also leaves one sister, Margaret Gure of Westborough, and three grandchildren. His funeral Mass was celebrated on June 11 in St. Luke the Evangelist Church. Burial, with Military Honors, followed in . Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 350 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01604
