Westborough Youth Soccer Association officials are thinking about two seasons at once.
Fall season tryouts are next week.
The spring season isn’t over, though. The Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League playoffs start in a few weeks, soccer association Director of Coaching Victor Delgado said. The league’s post-season is for the U11 and older divisions. The division playoff winners will then compete in the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions, he said.

The eight-game spring regular season runs March through early June, Delgado said.
The fall season runs from September through early November.

The fall tryouts will be held Monday for U9, Tuesday for U10, Wednesday for U12 and Thursday for U14.
More information is found on the association’s website.
The association has partnered with BEST, which will evaluates the players based on skill and physical ability, so “they have the best opportunity to compete, have fun and not get hurt,” Delgado said.
Players will play some short matches against each other during the tryouts, he said.
The association’s age director will determine the player’s placement based on the tryout score and the coach’s evaluation for their team, he said.
“In some cases, they might be trying out for the same group, or they’re moving on to the next age group,” Delgado said.
“So, it’s always good to judge them against their peers, versus what they may be going to. And a lot of kids don’t play against each other in town.”
