1 Dead In Westford Crash

WESTFORD, MA – A Billerica woman died in a single-car crash on I-495 in Westford Thursday night, state police said. The woman was traveling on the northbound side when she lost control of her car, a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and drove into the median near Exit 32, police said.

The collision caused her car to roll over, according to a press release. State police troopers were called to the scene around 5:55 p.m.

The driver, 50 years old, was the only person in the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not yet identified the driver. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
