2 Westford Girl Scout Volunteers Awarded for Service Work
The volunteers both won the Appreciation Pin, which is given annually for outstanding service work.
WESTFORD, MA — Two Westford Girl Scout volunteers received the Appreciation Pin at the annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony this month.
Dawn Brooks and Jean LaRoche-Owens were given the award which recognizes volunteers for outstanding service work, reported The Westford Eagle.
“We are deeply grateful to our volunteers whose commitment to enriching girls’ lives enables them to thrive and become the leaders of tomorrow,” said Patricia A. Parcellin, CEO, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, according to The Eagle.
