2nd DUI Charge For Westford Man: Police Log

WESTFORD, MA — Westford police recently arrested a local resident on his second drunk-driving charge. These and more were included in the latest Westford police log. Suspects are presumed innocent.

9:18 p.m. Suspicious person reported on Quarry Hill Road.

10:47 p.m. Disturbance reported on Nutting Road.

Monday, August 28

11:50 a.m. Larceny reported on Southgate Road.

4:21 p.m. Dog violation reported on Villanova Drive.

Tuesday, August 29

5:53 p.m. Identity theft reported on Main Street.

10:27 p.m. Following a crash with injuries on Chamberlain Road, Andrew Darnell, 30, of Lowell, was charged with drunk driving, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, negligent driving, speeding, a lane violation and unlawful possession of fireworks.

Wednesday, August 30

9:08 p.m. Police were called to maintain the peace for a domestic incident on Indian Ridge Terrace.

Thursday, August 31

9:39 a.m. Police executed a search warrant on Main Street.

9:30 p.m. Following a crash with injuries on Flushing Pond Road, Ryan Nolet, 36, of Westford, was charged with drunk driving (second offense), possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, two counts of drug possession, negligent driving and failure to drive in the correct lane.
