WESTFORD, MA — Westford police said they recently arrested a repeat drunk driver, found a fugitive during a trespassing call and investigated a report of animal cruelty. These and more were included in the recent Westford police log. Suspects are presumed innocent.

- 2:01 a.m. Following a report of a disabled vehicle on Groton Road, Laytanya Alyce, 30, of Framingham, was charged with drunk driving (second offense) and possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
- 6:10 p.m. Animal cruelty was reported on Lan Drive.

- 7:01 p.m. Following a report of trespassing on Vineyard Road, Darnell Moore, 22, of Billerica, was arrested for failure to appear in court.
