31st Annual Westford Children's Fishing Derby Draws Big Crowd

There were plenty of kids from around the Westford area partaking in a tradition that now spans generations.

It was a cold, but clear morning at the Westford Sportsmen's Club, but that didn't stop nearly 200 kids and their families from coming to fish in the annual Westford Children's Fishing Derby.

212 of the approximately 1,100 fish stocked into the lake were caught, and $1,600 in fishing related prizes were given away during the event.
