A Lowell man was seriously injured in a crash on Route 495 Friday night in Westford. State Police from the Concord barracks responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on 495 South just south of Exit 32 at about 8:25 p.m., police said. Police say a 31-year-old operater driving a 2005 Nissan Murano left the right side of the roadway and crashed in a ditch for reasons still under investigation. The man was entrapped and extricated by Westford Fire and transported by MedFlight to Brigham and Women's Hospital.
