WESTFORD, MA — Police and firefighters responded to a reported industrial accident in Westford on Friday.
The accident occurred at 540 Groton Road and involved "a male employee who was injured by a piece of equipment," police said.
Police added, "Due to the nature of the incident, a technical rescue was required."
There are numerous first responders still at the scene of the incident.
The address is listed as a Newport Aggregates quarry.
