• Woman airlifted after crash in Westford (newportdispatch.com) — Emergency crews in Westford responded to a serious crash on South Chelmsford Road after a 74-year-old driver from Chelmsford allegedly hit two vehicles, then struck a tree that blocked the road. She was airlifted to a hospital with significant injuries, and the roadway was closed for about 90 minutes while police investigated and public works removed the fallen tree.
