WESTFORD, MA — The Westford Public Works Department is advising drivers about construction that will result in a detour Nov. 7 on Groton Road (Route 40).
The department posted the following on Facebook:
Construction supporting the waterline extension to the MIT property will take place on Groton Road near Millstone Hill Road on these Saturdays:
▪️ October 31
▪️ November 7
▪️ November 14
A detour will be in place ONLY on Saturday, November 7. No detour is planned for October 31 or November 14.
Please allow extra travel time, expect delays, and follow posted signs and directions from police detail officers. Use caution near crews and equipment.
