Arrest Made After Alleged Ninety Nine Restaurant Larceny
Westford resident Joseph Regan was recently arrested after allegedly trying to take cash from tables at the Ninety Nine Restaurant on Littleton Road.

A Westford man was reportedly arrested earlier this month after allegedly committing larceny within the 99 Restaurant on Littleton Road.
Police arrested Joseph Regan, 21, of 5 Phillips Dr., and charged him with larceny from a building.
According to reports from American Alarm and Communications, the restaurant's video security provider, patrons stated Regan entered the restaurant posing as a customer followed by what they described as a search around tables throughout the restaurant for cash left on a table.

At that point, a patron yelled at Regan as he began to walk away, with one employee chasing him while another called the police according to the American Alarm and Communications Report, which went on to indicate that he was arrested nearby soon afterward at 9:12 p.m
"The officers had enough information to make the arrest at the scene. There were several eyewitnesses who identified the suspect," said Westford Police Capt. Victor Neal. "We are preserving the video clips as evidence, and they will be turned over to the district attorney as supportive evidence as this case proceeds."
