GROTON, MA: Leapin’ Lizards! Non-profit regional arts center ArtsNashoba is starting up its fourth year of bringing the “Arts to Youth and Youth to the Arts” with the world’s best-loved Orphan - ANNIE! “Annie, Jr.,” featuring book and score by Tony Award®-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, includes such unforgettable songs as “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” plus the eternal anthem of optimism, “Tomorrow.” Auditions for ages 8 to 18 will be held September 26 and 27, 4pm, at the Union Congregational Church, 218 Main Street in Groton.

Auditions are also upcoming for budding theatrical DOGS. Yes, ArtsNashoba will be on a quest to find “Sandy,” the live pooch who will be Annie’s best friend onstage. So, stay tuned for more information (and start practicing your barks and head tilts in the meantime! Dogs, please. Not kids.)
