AT&T Announces Enhanced 4G In Westford
The new expanded coverage and performance comes as part of a move by the company to enhance its network in several communities in Middlesex County.

According to AT&T, last week their customers in Westford received an improvement in mobile broadband coverage and voice performance as part of completing a key network enhancement in several Middlesex County communities.
The enhancement adds new layers of frequency to cell sites in the county, part of the company's goal to expand its 4G LTE network in the area.
“Our goal is for our customers to have an extraordinary experience. As part of the Massachusetts community, we’re always looking for new opportunities to provide an enhanced customer experience and our investment in the local wireless network is just one way we’re accomplishing that,” said Stephen Krom, vice president and general manager of AT&T New England. “In addition, our recently announced agreement to acquire T-Mobile USA will strengthen and expand our network in Massachusetts. If approved, this deal means that we’ll be able to expand the next generation of mobile broadband – 4G LTE – from our current plan of 80 percent of the U.S. population to more than 97 percent.”
