Bad Westford Crash: Tractor-Trailer Vs. Car
A driver escaped serious injury after a crash in Westford on Littleton Road Friday.
WESTFORD, MA — A driver escaped serious injury in Westford Friday after his car was crushed by a tractor-trailer in a crash on Littleton Road. The crash happened near Cornerstone Square and the intersection of Boston Road. The impact knocked the driver's car into a utility pole and the driver became trapped. Firefighters used cutting equipment to free him.
The driver was hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to WHDH. The truck driver was not hurt. The cause of the crash, which happened at about noon, was under investigation. (Sign up for free daily newsletters and breaking news alerts from Westford Patch.)
