Blue’s Clues 23, Electric Shock 20
What a game! Blue’s Clues, who were the underdogs of the game -- pun intended -- pulled earned the championship after netting just two wins in the regular season. Julia Marenghi and Jordan Underwood led in scoring with lots of assists from Bridget Gomes. Emma Wood made it all happen with her defense and hustle. The Electric Shock put up a great fight led be Emily Perrone and Tabitha Lavelle.

SEMIFINALS
Blue’s Clues 20, Bananas 16
At the end of regulation, the game was tied at 16 to send the game into overtime. Bridget Gomes of the Blue’s Clues hit the shot to get her team ahead. Dani Roder of the Bananas kept up the intensity on defense. Amanda Charlton led the offense. For the Blue’s Clues, Rupali Shenoy and Jordan Underwood led the effort on defense.
Electric Shock 25, Minty Fresh 22
Another intense playoff game! In the second half, the Electric Shock went on a scoring tear and opened up a 22-7 lead, which would hold for the victory. Scoring for the Minty Fresh were Julia Libby and Amanda Smith led with eight points apiece. The tight defense for the Minty Fresh was shored up by Felicia Zhang, and Taylor Pillsbury. The West Division champs Electric Shock were led by Emily Perrone scoring five, and Katie Ross, Rachel Morey, Rebecca Arnold and Tabitha Lavelle each adding four.
QUARTERFINALS
Bananas 16, Pink 6
The Bananas defeated the Pink in a hard-fought, quarterfinal round game. The Bananas displayed a swarming defense led by Juliette Noone and Ali Loftus. The Bananas had seven girls score, led by Amanda Charlton with four points. The Pink had an equally aggressive defense led by Shannon Harris, with Amy Cavanaugh and Corey Mains scoring baskets.
Blue’s Clues 24, Clovers 19
The Blue’s Clues came out on top in the quarter finals of the Middle School Girls Basketball league. The underdogs may have prevailed but the Clover team put up an awesome fight led by Rebecca Stafstrom, Mara Burke, and Nicole Camara. The Blue’s Clues were led by Bridget Gomes, Jordan Underwood, and Julia Marenghi.
Electric Shock 14, Purple Irises 11
This turned out to be another defensive struggle between the Purple Irises and the Electric Shock. The first half ended with a score of 6-2, with the Electric Shock on top. In the second half, the Purple Irises team was able to spread the ball around with Katie Cooper scoring four points, Alicia and Hannah Chateauneuf with two, and Angela Alibrandi with a free throw. For the Electric Shock team, Emily Perrone, Rebecca Arnold, Elizabeth Derloia, and Tabitha Lavelle each scored a basket.
Minty Fresh 26, Pink Demons 24
Camille Desrouchers had 15 points for the Demons, but had a hard time getting by Amanda Smith’s defense.
