As we clean and put our children’s hockey gear away for the summer, this seems like a good time to acknowledge and say thank you for the generous contributions of Nashoba Youth Hockey Association’s corporate sponsors.

A big thank you is due to Mickey Sports Shop of Westford. Owner Bill Richards has been an active supporter of Nashoba Youth Hockey for many years. He offers top quality Nashoba Youth Hockey apparel to the association. Did you know the Nashoba Youth Sweatshirts given to each travel team player this year were embroidered locally at Mickey’s? Donelan’s Market of Littleton supports our program with a generous donation to the association year after year. Your repeat donations help us keep our tuition one of the lowest in the area.

Play It Again Sports – Chelmsford – Did you know that Play It Again Sports sells both new and used sporting equipment? The sponsorship contributions that Bob provided to Nashoba Youth Hockey included a private shopping night, start up packages for new skaters and more. Stop in to show your support of a local business man and don’t forget to mention you are a member of Nashoba Youth Hockey!

Sports-Wash – Mike Melisi, owner of Sports-Wash in Billerica, has sponsored Nashoba Youth Hockey for many years. The breakthrough sanitizing system he has in place keeps our skaters healthy by killing the bacteria that breeds in the dirty hockey equipment; bacteria that can cause serious infections, etc. Sports-Wash isn’t just for hockey gear either. Pure Hockey – Most hockey families get to Pure Hockey a few times a season. Pure Hockey has supported us for a few years now and they have a great selection of everything any of our players needs. Thank you for your continued support of our association.

Restore Hockey - Thank you for contributing used hockey equipment for our initiations registration and equipment swap. It was a big success and we hope to offer this year after year.

Curious how the kids did this season?

Did everyone know there were 4 Nashoba Youth Hockey Teams that medaled in their respective league championships? Congratulations to the coaches and players of the Pee Wee B, Squirt C, and Mite B for coming in 2nd place in their divisions in the Valley League and to the Girls U12/U14 Black for placing 2nd in the Middlesex Yankee League!

The association’s board members thank all the corporate sponsors, families and skaters for a wonderful year. We look forward to seeing everyone again at the end of the summer for another exciting season of hockey with the Nashoba Youth Hockey Association!
