Blizzard Blast Obstacle Run Coming to Lowell!!

At SmithFest Events we're changing the way runners view the winter season!!  For so long people have seen the colder months as a time where you don't go outside to run, and in some cases we tend to stay cooped up inside in the warmth.  Well, for those who like to run, stay in shape, keep active, and check out fun and exciting events in and around the area, the wait is over!!  With the introduction "Blizzard Blast" we're ELIMINATING the runner's off-season!!

Blizzard Blast Presented by NMTW Community Credit Union is a 5k Winter Obstacle Run that will be the only one of its kind in New England! Runners will be tested with a fun wintery course through the terrain and fields of Shedd Park and Fort Hill in Lowell, Ma. There is "NO OFF SEASON", so grab your sneakers, gloves and winter hats and come take on the most exciting run of the year! Bring it on Mother Nature! The more snow the better!!! This run will take place Rain, Shine, Snow, or BLIZZARD!! 

Registrants must be 14 years of age or older, and with registration everyone will receive a Blizzard Blast T-Shirt, Completion Award, A bowl of Soup, Chili, or Chowder, Access to the “Blizzard Bash” Post Race Party, and a Beer (21+ Only)!!

Registration, Check-in and the Post-Run “Blizzard Bash” will take place at Holy Ghost Park located at 65 Village Street in Lowell, MA.
