Want to help raise awareness about Alzheimer's? You can click, walk or wear purple during World Alzheimer's Month to help.
September is World Alzheimer’s Month….
Here are five suggestions as to how you can become an advocate
and increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease which is estimated to affect 35
million people and their families world-wide.
Take the Brain Tour: Learn about the facts and myths of Alzheimer’s. Discover the reasons as to why Alzheimer’s is not a normal part of the aging process.
Find out what's happening in Westfordfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s: Sign up to walk and raise funds for Alzheimer’s awareness. Many walks are scheduled throughout September. As an
alternative, consider being a “cheerleader” and salute those who are
participating as walkers.

Be a Champion: Sign up on the Alzheimer’s website to receive news alerts and periodic “call to action” requests. Become aware of the ways in which you can help advocate for research and services.
Join Facebook : Go the Alzheimer’s Facebook page and join nearly 400,000 people who are concerned and sharing information about Alzheimer’s disease.
Wear Purple: On September 27, add a dash of purple or dress from head-to-toe in purple to show your support for people with Alzheimer’s and to help break through the barriers of stigma attached to this disease.
