Hoping Westford's Teachers Are Getting the Recognition They Deserve This Week (And Always)

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and today was Teacher Appreciation Day.  I was saddened to see that the Patch did not give any coverage to the wonderful faculty of the Westford Public Schools, who have worked so hard to ensure that each and every student receive the education they deserve.  

As a parent, I have had great experiences at the Robinson, Crisafulli, and Blanchard Schools.  As a participant in my daughters' toy drive, "For the Love of Erika", we have also had the great pleasure of working with the Nabnasset and Day Schools.  

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those teachers who have made a difference in my daughters' lives, as well as those who have helped make Westford Public Schools so successful. 

In closing, I would also like to thank my daughters' schools principals: Denise Arvidson, Sharon Kennelly, Rose Vetere, Michelle Kane, and Tim Hislop; great schools don't end with great teachers!
