On Tuesday night, June 18th, the WA Athletic Booster Club will host our annual “New England Patriots vs. Westford” charity basketball game. At least 5 members of the Patriots team will be in Westford for the 7:00 p.m. game to be held in Westford Academy's gymnasium. Tickets will be available at the door and the Patriots players and our ‘special guest’ will sign autographs during halftime and after the game.
Come and join us to cheer on the Westford team or to cheer on the Patriot players! In previous games Rob Gronkowski, Patrick Chung, Kevin Faulk, & Joe Andruzzi and others have been in Westford to give our teachers a run for their money!
Westford will be represented by special guest Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series, and some of your favorite middle school teachers; from Stony Brook - Katie Andjus, Blake Buxton, Amanda Donegan, & Brett Sczylvian; from Blanchard - Leslie Doerr, and Jonathan Morgan; with Justin Maly and Jamie Merkle listed as ‘possibles’ as of press time.

The evening’s proceeds will benefit the WA Athletic Boosters Club, an organization that supports all athletes at WA by purchasing equipment that is needed by the teams but isn’t covered by the current budget. We also proudly acknowledge all of our athletes each season by providing the varsity letters, sports plaques, and DCL championship banners that are earned by various teams/individuals throughout the academic year, and by hosting the annual Senior Sports Banquet. We also award scholarships each year to deserving senior athletes for use as they further their education.
