Scott Hazelton and Jim Jarvie: Complimentary Backgrounds Make for a Good Combination

Hazelton's and Jarvie's business experience and sense of community would make for a very good team, and would be a welcome addition to the Board of Selectmen

Over the weekend I had the honor of speaking briefly with a WWII veteran, and among many other questions, I of course asked him for his opinions on the upcoming election.  He told me he felt that Scott Hazelton and Jim Jarvie should run together for the Board of Selectmen, as a team.  Although in politics people generally don't run as teams, over the last couple of days I've thought about what he suggested, and the two of them together would be very beneficial to Westford.  Scott Hazelton is an experienced economic consultant, and Jim Jarvie is experienced in business management and operations.  (Additional details can be found on their websites, www.votescotthazelton.com and www.jimjarvie.com.)  Both Jim and Scott have a strong sense of community and family, both currently have children in the Westford school system, and both know the current financial road on which Westford is traveling is dangerous and not sustainable.  I hope Westford residents will join me in electing Scott and Jim on April 30, thereby bringing their combined expertise and innovative thinking to the benefit of our community.
