Second Annual Live Halloween Program at Westford CAT
Can't stop by Westford CAT's studio at 487 Groton Road this Sunday, October 30, between 1 and 4pm to join the party and the show? Then watch the action LIVE on Comcast 8 and Verizon 35.
On Sunday, October 30th you can tune in to Westford CAT’s public access channels at 1pm to watch our second annual Halloween show. It’ll be spooky. It’ll be fun. It’ll be entertaining. And it’ll be LIVE on Comcast 8 and Verizon 35. Be part of the show by coming down to 487 Groton Road between 1 and 4pm where you will be able to enjoy the treats, the games, the prizes and the show. Last year’s event brought over 60 children and adults to the station, in costume, for the annual celebration. We had Draculas, Grim Reapers, pirates, fairies, and even a tiny, adorable lobster who all made appearances during our live television program.
We’re planning for a whole lot more this year. Ira Keltz, Westford CAT’s president, will host the show and he’s arranged for Steve Blunt, an award winning singer/storyteller based in Nashua, NH, to sing songs from his new CD called “There's a Vampire at My Door.” Blunt, who has over 20 years’ experience in the arts and education, has delighted audiences at schools, libraries, and concert venues across New England. Children author, artist, and performer Marty Kelley will also be performing that day. And, later in the show, we’ll get a visit by Westford’s own alien youngster, Blue Fizz. During the show, we’ll be running multiple rounds of a Haunted Game Show with three different contestants for each round. You can enter our costume contest, enjoy lots of treats, and embark on a haunted studio tour, if you dare! You never know who will show up during our live show, so don’t miss it!
