Three New Shows To Get You Ready for Special Town Meeting
You can go to Special Town Meeting prepared with the details for each warrant by watching three new programs on Westford CAT, sponsored and produced by the League of Women Voters.
Special Town Meeting is upon us and Bob Price, Vice President of Westford’s League of Women Voters, has hosted three new shows that give voters an overview of the warrants and the resolution being discussed on Monday evening. You can watch these shows online at Westford CAT’s website by following the links.
The first show taped at the studio gave an overview of all the warrant articles, with Town Manager Jodi Ross and Director of Land Use Management, Angus Jennings.
Next, Hajo Koester, who has petitioned for Article 4 – Acquiring Real Property at 57 Main Street, talks with Bob Price about why he is put this article on the warrant.

And, finally, on Wednesday afternoon Price returned to Westford CAT, this time with Chaitanya Hiremath, author of the resolution to adopt a world flag.

You can watch them on both the public access channels Comcast 8 and Verizon 35 and the government access channels Comcast 10 and Verizon 34. Check our on line schedule or Community Bulletin Board for times. You can also watch it live on government access channels 10 and 34 starting at 7:30pm on Monday October 17th.
Also new this weekend on Westford CAT is the Westford Academy Football Supporters, Homecoming Special, hosted by Geoff Hall. Along with fellow member, Chris Eaton, they had two special guests from the 1955 Westford Academy football team, John Gagnon and Paul Davies. Hear some great stories about the early football years and their undefeated season. The team will be honored during the Homecoming Game against Wayland on October 22nd.
