When Someone You Love Has Alzheimer's

A free half-day conference is being offered to family caregivers who are seeking information and help in caring for a loved one who has Alzheimer's.

If you are concerned or caring for a loved one who has Alzheimer's Disease then you won't want to miss the upcoming free educational forum to be held on Saturday, April 28th.

The conference will offer free educational programs, a chance to meet with over 50 service providers representing a wide range of care options including assisted living homes, day programs, home care services, equipment providers, elder law attorneys and care advisors.

The keynote presentation will be given by Dr. Robert Stern who will speak about Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

Other guest speakers will cover topics such as how to evaluate and manage independence and safety; family decision making and ten things to consider upon receiving a diagnosis of Alzheimer's.

 

The conference is in its 24th year and being hosted by the Elder Services of Merrimack Valley in conjuntion with the Merrimack Valley Alzheimer's Partnership.

 

All family caregivers are invited to attend this half-day event at no cost although registration is required.
